Best GMAT Test Prep Courses and Tutoring in Tokyo
Aspiring graduate business students in Tokyo can excel on all sections of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) with Manhattan Review's prep services. Tokyo students can improve their test scores and applications for master of business administration, master of accountancy, master of finance, or doctoral-level business degrees with our on-site GMAT prep courses, online GMAT classroom instruction, GMAT private tutoring, and GMAT practice tests. Business school applicants should also consider our MBA admissions consulting services. Manhattan Review is a company that was founded in 1999 through new methods of GMAT instruction, and our innovative GMAT teaching has helped thousands of students around the world get accepted to selective and highly selective business schools. The GMAT measures a variety of skills that are widely viewed as important to success in graduate business courses, and high scores generally require competent, professional instruction. Manhattan Review's GMAT tutors and classroom instructors teach students how to master all of the necessary GMAT skills and how to most effectively study for each section of the test. We are quite simply the top GMAT resource in Tokyo.
Manhattan Review's GMAT learning programs consistently produce students who are accepted to the top business schools in the English-speaking world. Harvard Business School, the Yale School of Management, the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Columbia Business School are just a few of the outstanding institutions that have accepted our students in the past. Our former GMAT clients have also been hired by a long list of prestigious Fortune 500 and Tokyo-based companies, including Berkshire Hathaway, Bank of America, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Helios Techno Holding, Daiichi Sankyo, Mizuho Bank, and Anabuki Construction. At Manhattan Review, we are happy to brag about the success of our past students, but we are even more focused on teaching the next generation of GMAT learners, who will become the business leaders of tomorrow.
It is important for prospective graduate business students to have a realistic understanding of the GMAT expectations at selective business schools. More than two-thirds of all test-takers receive total GMAT scores between 440 and 640, but students in this score range have very poor chances of acceptance to the most elite business schools. The Stanford Graduate School of Business, for example, is one of the most selective programs in the world, with an acceptance rate of just 5%. Though the overall GMAT score range of accepted Stanford MBA students is 590-790, the average score is 737. At Harvard Business School, the acceptance rate is 11%, and the median GMAT score is 730, with a middle-80% score range of 690-760. There are many good programs with lower average GMAT scores, but the strongest possible GMAT performance will dramatically increase the odds of acceptance to any business school. Meet a Tokyo GMAT Tutor: Lillian B.
Lillian B., a graduate of the University of California-Davis and UCLA's Anderson School of Management, has been teaching GMAT prep for the past seven years. Her application to one of the best business schools in the United States was helped by a GMAT total score in the top 1% of all test-takers. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she has been living in Tokyo since 2015.
In addition to her teaching, Lillian has also had a successful career in business. She currently works for a Tokyo-based insurance company, and she was previously employed by a major manufacturer in Los Angeles. "My business career helps me serve as a role model for my students, and it gives me credibility that I would not otherwise have," she says. Lillian is a married mother of a three-year-old son.
